Plans & Projects

The sale of the limited edition print is the first fundraising project of the Friends of the Legion. We are helping to organize and financially support the 2007 5th Group Reunion in conjunction with our comrades in Chapter 38 of the Special Forces Association. We plan to expand our fundraising efforts and develop the financial resources to realize our goals. The projects we are planning include:

· A memorial to our fallen comrades in front of the new 5th Group Headquarters at Ft. Campbell, KY

· A memorial stone at USASOC Headquarters at Ft. Bragg, NC honoring all those who have served in the 5th Group

· A scholarship fund for children of current and former members of the 5th SFG(A)

· An alumni database of soldiers who have served with the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne)
